Worship Team
Our Worship Team provides leadership for singing for our contemporary services. These services are held on the first, third and fifth Sunday of each month beginning at 10:45 AM. The Worship Team is made up of a keyboard player, vocalist, guitar and other instruments as needed. The songs support the worship theme of the day and reflect our teachings according to Scripture. Rehearsal Schedule: The first and third Saturday each month from 9:30 - 11:00 AM.
Chorale
The Cross of Christ Chorale provides leadership and support for the congregation in the singing of hymns and the liturgy. The Chorale also sings selected arrangments of music to enhance the worship of the congregation. Special services are prepared for the 'Lessons and Carols' during the Advent Season, for Christmas and also for Easter. The Choral sings unison as well as SAB and SATB selections. Rehearsals for the Chorale are scheduled from 7:30 PM - 8:45 PM on Wednesday evenings.
Handbells
The Cross of Christ Handbell Ensemble provides support and variety to the worship experiences of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church. Presently the Handbell Ensemble has a three-octave set of Schulmerich Bells and will soon be adding a set of Hand Chimes. The Handbell Ensemble rehearses from 6:30 - 7:30 PM each Wednesday evening and plays in selected services throughout the church year.
